This page introduces qualified Vaishnavis initiated by His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. Their spiritual practice, character, and understanding of siddhanta reflect the qualifications traditionally associated with Diksha-gurus in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition. Their lives stand as examples of devotion, integrity, and commitment to guiding others in bhakti.

Narayani Devi Dasi a disciple of His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, joined ISKCON in Boston in 1970. She has done many services for Srila Prabhupada including Deity worship in Calcutta temple, traveling book distribution in Western India for the Bombay temple.

Urmila devi dasi (Dr. Edith Best) has served ISKCON continuously since her initiation by Srila Prabhupada in 1973. She and her husband are in the vanaprastha order since 1996. They have three married children, 13 grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. She has a PhD in education, was a primary and secondary teacher for 27 years, and has 19 years of experience with school management.  

Rambhoru devi dasi was initiated in 1974 in Cologne, Germany, by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. She spent the next twenty-six years assisting her husband, Prithu Dasa, to establish and manage ISKCON temples in Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, and India.
