Welcome to the Vaishnavi Voice

EDITOR’S LETTER by Krishnarupa devi dasi

Welcome to the fourth issue of The Vaishnavi Voice –

Australia’s digital newsletter for the Australian yatra.

I hope that all the devotees, both men and women,

read this edition with interest. From the content you

are about to read, you’ll see how the Australian yatra is

thriving and in good spiritual health! Our feature article this issue is by the scholarly Urmila devi dasi. Urmila is no stranger to Australia’s shores and

her seminars continue to inspire many. Her insightful article focuses on the prayers of Princess Rukmini who is desiring the association of her beloved Krishna, the

Supreme Personality of Godhead. As Urmila writes, “Women having devotion, women having wisdom, women giving spiritual guidance and direction, and women taking on positions of heavy responsibilities of leadership service for Krishna abound in our sastra, history and tradition.” I hope you all enjoy reading the latest news about the different temples around our zone. Krishna has given us so much scope to use all our God-given skills in His service, which is clearly shown in the enthusiasm and devotion these articles showcase. I warmly invite you to contribute to the next issue. You can send your story idea or article to me at: krishnarupa.acbsp@gmail.com We welcome any feedback or suggestions on how to make this newsletter relevant to you and your spiritual journey in service. Please don’t hesitate to contact me on the email

above.
